God's Boys will be good boys!
How many things do we have in this house? How many steps are in the Thriller video? How many clothes do we fold in a day? How many eggs does it take to feed this family? How many pairs of pants do I have? How many days till the end of the school year? How many years will it be before I am a grown up?
We are responsible for so many things in this life. We are accountable to God, first for our own soul and then for the souls of the women and children that He has entrusted to us. God will hold us accountable for where we carried their minds and where we carried their souls throughout life. It is an awesome responsibility to be a man of God. Prophet, priest and king of your home. You'd better be ready for the challenge. Women and children go to hell everyday because some man disappointed their faith and they could not see God through the shadow of that man.
Men who carouse and carry many women's souls into the gutter are held accountable by God. Forgiveness is sought and God has forgiveness, but there is a price to pay. It is possible that some are preaching peace in the souls when there is no peace. Beware!
When you look into the eyes of a woman and carry her to the heights of love into your soul, you become responsible for what becomes of her soul. Love has a price. The devil deceives us and makes us think that we are okay and that we can just walk away and that there is no consequence to your behavior. God is sovereign! God is love and when we use His good gifts for personal gain. He takes this very seriously.
Be thrilled to be holy.

Thrilling the family!
God's Boys will be good boys!
It is so great that you are always entertaining your siblings with something. Movies, cartoons, little humor things that you have created. Teaching and greeting the children with wholesome stories seems to be your calling. Use it for good. Let the new year bring you greater oportunity to create the things that make the children giggle and gurgle. They try to scream and they see your clown faces. You can get into a person's heart so much further through humor than through sadness. The heart can be seared by pain and by entertainment. Look to use whatever means is available to the glory of God. He has shows around us everyday. Some humorous and some spectacular and some thrilling and enthralling and some just usual. Don't get too used to God's spectacular sunrises and sunsets. He is the Master!

Thrilled for Christmas Eve to finally have come
God's Boys will be good boys!
Movies and animations are on the drawing board. Comedy is everywhere for a hungry mind in a very large family. I am still giggling at Calvin Klein calling me on the phone, because I am your mother. Let us sober ourselves to remember that the God of the universe came down on Christmas to give us access to the Father in Christ. There is fun and games with Christmas. But the truth of God's supreme goodness is still the heart of the story!

Someday at Christmas
God's Boys will be good boys!
Boys will play with folks, like kids play with toys! Come one December, our hearts will see a world where men are free.
Are men free in your house, dear children? That is where we must start with those sentiments. Someday at Christmas...The sentiments of the King of Glory humbling Himself to be the sacrifice that would unite us to God is Peace in our hearts. When we can sacrifice our pride to unite others to ourselves is Christmas in our homes.
Labor and fight, if you must for peace in your heart through Christ and for peace in your home through Christ. This is hard fought for and sacrificial at best. Love, Peace and Joy this Christmas season.

Don't Blame it on the MOONLIGHT!
God's Boys will be good boys!
Young man, you are learning the changeableness and frailty of your own and young women's emotions. God has made you the commander of your own emotions and the emotions of those whose ears you earn a hearing. Earn a hearing! Earn a hearing, first from mother and brothers and sisters and God will lend you more ears.
Where do I earn a hearing? ...From my behavior, conduct, manners and accomplishments. Ears are won by these. Many a man has won a hearing, simply on account of practice of a skill. This is only one way, but a good way. As you apply yourself to the tasks at hand you are earning authority in the home and in the earth.
God said to "Take dominion!" This is not the authority which is earned but grasped. The wildlife and the seas are for us to command authority over on the earth, but not so, our sisters and brothers, we must earn their hearing and not misuse it once achieved.

Boys, Eat your veggies! I am your mother and I am so alarmed that when you are at school you have your own choices and no one to impress you what you should eat or drink. I am old and my heart is what it is. Your young hearts are growing and developing and you need to be concerned about what kinds of fats you are putting into them.

Thrilled to be a boy
God's Boys will be good boys!
It is going to be a long time that you are a man. You will have decisions to make and stuff to do. Practice being a good boy. It is hard in this season where boyhood and manhood are intermeshing. Learning to monitor your relating and emotions is practice for the real thing. Learning the correct tones of respect and honor that are due to authorities and girls and women around you can get complicated but is important also. Don't let one part of your humanity dominate the other portions. Dance and sing, if you would, work and study, because you must, don't forget to pray and eat; all in moderation, under God.
It is told you, Oh man, what is good and what does the Lord require of thee. But, to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

It looks to me as though boys are looking for attention.
God's Boys will be good boys!
I never saw a boy dance on the steps like Adam Savani. He was doing a dance in front of this little girl and it was cute and friendly and amusing. Not really seductive, I don't think. It looks like boys don't have cute ornaments on them like jewelry and bows and Adam looked like he wanted to be looked at with that kind of cutesy pie thoughts that we often dote upon little girls.
We have to know the difference in our souls between coveting what the girls have and being who the girls are. Dance sometimes loses that distinction. To learn to be masculine, even in your desire for that kind of attention is real and could be good. Beware of emulating the girls to get the attention that they get. God made men to be the pursuer and not the doted on one. There will be the one woman who will dote upon you and fulfill that need. In the meantime, be patient.

A Little Consideration for your mother's poor nerves, please.
God's Boys will be good boys!
1 Peter 2:
11.Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
I really do not know how you boys do it? You have to plan and consider and make decisions about things, long before they happen. God has made you to be the initiator and yet your initiation has to be with purity.
I saw, in the Thriller video, something about men that I had never seen before. That even with the best laid plans, when things happen, things happen. It seemed that Michael was saying, he asked this girl on a date to ask her to be his girl and they ran out of gas and they were walking home and every demon in hell came out of his soul and he couldn't control what had happened.
Isn't that just the way things happen. We pray and we plan and then, we run out of gas and that is just it.
What a treatise on mortification of sin, if you wish to mortify your sin, by the power of God, through Christ. We are saved by grace and trying to abstain from the fleshly lusts and stuff happens. God can keep us, but we have to know that there is a demon worse than the power of hell resident with us that would mess up our lives, if let to.
How on earth, can we abstain from earthly lusts with TV and internet and books and other stuff available and not be passive and "let things happen" people? God has remedies for revival and preservation in the Word and they are prayed down and acted upon.
One of my Pastors said, very accurately, that even with the Holy Spirit, some of these things only work with them in your back pocket as you are running for your life. That is the situation that Michael was playing out in the Thriller Video. You really don't know yourself until you see yourself in one of the demons as possible making shipwreck of your faith.
Acting in the positive direction does much to help us avoid the negative stuff.
God, please help us to be decisive and proactive in relationships and still be Obstinately abstinate.

Letting God cleanse the deepest stains. Dealing with LURKING LONGINGS
God's Boys will be good boys!
Jesus is a friend for sinners. He was such a friend of sinners that the holy people of His day were embarrassed at the company that He kept. I am grateful for that because that means He can be friends with me. There is nothing of my sin that I can't bring to Him and He has healing and forgiveness and help and strength and cleansing for the deepest stains. Jesus loves us when no one else can and He can handle the mess in our lives that, even our momma may turn away from. He is the only one that we can trust with that.
There is one good thing about being disappointed by parents at an early age, is that we learn that God is greater and we can only trust Him with the messes in our lives. He promises to be and always shows up as a Father to the fatherless and a Friend to the friendless. Take the lurking longings to Him.

Something is lurking,
God's Boys will be good boys!
God said to Cain, If you do good, you will be accepted but if you don't change your attitude, sin wants to overtake you...Sin wants to pounce you, like a tiger or a lion. (Paraphrased by Jayne) It amazes me that God sees and warns us of things like that. Our attitudes about our brothers. The Proverbs say that there are 6, even 7 things that the Lord hates and things that He CANNOT STAND! The last of the things is "he that sows discord among his brethren." It was so wicked that Cain slew his brother. It was the fruit of the angry passions and jealousy that he was harboring and God told him about it to his face.
I have so often been jealous of my siblings, for one or another reason and it is just wickedness which makes me angry that they have a toy or something that I have not. I had horrible dreams of stealing Muffy, when she was born and I had no children. Brotherly love can also birth brotherly jealousy that is vicious. We need to use the Word of God to fight against all of these alienations against one another.
Thank God for mercy and grace in Christ, which can cleanse us from the deepest sins and stains and make us fit for His service, in spite of our angry passions and bad attitudes.
